Thematic Working Group #2: Art branding as a financing strategy

On June 12, 2024, we meet for an online workshop organized within the Culture Next Thematic Working Group. The workshop is dedicated to Culture Next member cities that want to learn more about the importance of having a consistent brand identity when building a funding strategy for arts and culture.

The workshop will be led by Igor Gałązkiewicz, a brand strategist and creative director. Igor helps to design and build brands that are cleverly modern, necessary, engaging and that become part of culture while being able to attract more resources for culture. He works for commercial and cultural brands and advertising agencies. He has written three pioneering books on building brand identities and their cultural value and clever ways to communicate them. His books, Art Branding, Experience Design, and Art Branding 2 have become bestsellers.

Culture Next Thematic Working Groups (TWGs) are designed as a framework in which member cities can address certain topics aligned to the network’s agenda and of relevance for ECoC candidate cities and their current needs. The TWG Programme is ongoing until May 15, 2024.
