Conferences

Culture Next conferences take place twice a year or, on special occasions, three times a year. Agendas include workshops, working sessions, networking activities for members, connections with other European network and platforms, as well as a programme dedicated to exploring the local context.

HOW DO CONFERENCES WORK?

Conferences are organised twice a year, hosted by rotation în members cities;

The network covers organisational costs of the event (venue, guest speakers, meals and networking), including and accommodation and travel for full member cities’ representatives (accommodation: 2 hotel nights per person, maximum 2 persons per city; travel: reimbursement of 150 euro per person, maximum 2 persons). Full members do not pay the conference fee;

Observing members cover their own travel and accommodation expenses, but are excepted from being the conference fee (250 euro per person);

Full Member Cities and Observing Member Cities can take part in all Culture Next conferences during their membership term;

Cities interested to join the network may attend one conference (one time only). They have to cover their own expenses and pay a conference fee of 250 euro per person. After attending a Culture Next Cities, cities can choose to apply for membership (Observing Member status) if interested în joining the network and în returning to future Culture Next conferences.
