Missions

Tailored advice and advocacy directly where it matters most – your city.

The Programme

A Culture Next Mission is a one-day, on-site visit by a team of European cultural experts to help cities accelerate their culture-led development strategies.

This programme is specifically designed for member cities of the Culture Next network.

Why Host?

Because it’s a unique opportunity to:

  • Access expertise from professionals who have previously shaped European  Capital of Culture projects.
  • Strengthen your cultural vision with practical, actionable insights.
  • Connect your city to a vibrant European network committed to innovation and collaboration.
  • Implement a legacy programme at the end of your title year with the help of experienced experts

Each mission is co-created with the host city, ensuring that the agenda reflects your priorities. You decide who the experts engage with whether cultural operators, community stakeholders, or local policymakers making the experience relevant and impactful for your city’s context.

What Is The Cost?

With a streamlined pricing model and all-inclusive logistics, Culture Next Missions make high-level expertise affordable and effective:

• 500 euros for each expert*
• 1000 euros – administrative fees
• +travel & accommodation fees

*a minimum of 3 experts/mission
