The hat festival supports the Chemnitz application for the Capital of Culture 2025.
With over 65,000 visitors, the hat festival has established itself as a central event in Chemnitz and the surrounding area over the past two years. In this very short time, the street art festival with its joy of life and loving details made it directly into the hearts of the city’s inhabitants. See here.
Due to the current corona epidemic, the beloved event unfortunately had to be cancelled in May 2020. Now the hat festival would like to support Chemnitz’ application for the Capital of Culture 2025 and takes fantastic street artists on a mini tour through the districts of Chemnitz and venues of the cultural area.
So hats on, in 2020 the street art festival is coming with an “OnTour” edition and will bring joy and enthusiasm directly to all districts of the city. Optimistic mood, breathtaking acrobatics and distinctive performances should put the people of Chemnitz in a positive mood for the last, decisive days on the way to the Capital of Culture 2025.
Do you also want to support us? Then apply until 30 August 2020 and become part of the hat festival team – on tour – our journey to the Capital of Culture 2025.
