This initiative marks an important moment in strengthening the connection between European cities and Japan, opening new opportunities for exchange, collaboration, and shared cultural experiences across our network. Through this partnership, we are also expanding access to mobility opportunities in Japan for cultural professionals from Culture Next member cities, supporting deeper international engagement and exchange.
Since October 2025, Culture Next and EU-Japan Fest have been in ongoing dialogue, exploring common values and future directions for collaboration. This new step reflects our shared commitment to supporting cultural professionals and fostering meaningful international connections.
Together with our partners in Japan, we look forward to continuing this journey, building bridges between cultures and contributing to a more connected and creative world.
