Cáceres is a city and Spanish municipality located in the center of the autonomous community of Extremadura. It is the capital and most populated municipality of the province of the same name and hosts the seat of the Extremadura’s Regional Supreme Court.

Cáceres‎ is one of the four Spanish cities shortlisted for the European Capital of Culture 2031 title.
