Are you ready? Open call for future Culture Next missions in your city

Culture Next is launching an Open Call for cities that are ready to host a Culture Next Mission, an opportunity to connect & collaborate in Europe and beyond the Culture Next network.

A Culture Next Mission is a one-day visit by a delegation of cultural leaders from the Culture Next network, designed to support your city through:

  • Strategic advice
  • Thinking & sharing
  • Strengthen local capacities in line with Culture Next network goals.
  • Advocacy and peer exchange

Each mission is co-designed with the host city to meet its specific goals.

Missions in Culture Next Member Cities

As part of its ongoing commitment to supporting cities in their cultural development, Culture Next organizes two missions per year in its member cities across Europe.

Each mission brings together a delegation of 3 to 5 experts, which may include members of the Culture Next Board, Executive team, and network representatives. The host city defines the mission’s specific objectives, while Culture Next carefully selects a team whose expertise best matches these goals.

The host city covers all travel and local expenses, as well as a mission fee, ensuring the delegation can focus entirely on supporting the city’s cultural ambitions.

All Culture Next and non-EU cities are welcomed to apply

📝 Deadline: December 31st, 2025
📧 Apply at: jean-gabriel@culturenext.eu

P.S. You can meet Jean Gabriel at Leeuwarden, between 8-10 July at the 14th Culture Next Conference and get all the details you need.
